Missing Person 28 year old Patrick Reum Searching Rock River Day 1

Patrick Michael Reum, was last seen around 6 p.m. on Dec. 12 walking out of his house in the 400 block of South First Street in the city’s Haight Village neighborhood.
His keys, wallet, phone and cigarettes were left inside his residence.
In this episode of Chaos Divers, I ask Brother's Underwater Recovery to assist me in the search for Patrick Reum. We searched 6 miles of the Rock River.
Southern Illinois Search Team and Wings Of Hope assisted also in the search. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped also.

So close to home. 20 min from Oregon. The rock has such strong under currents. I’m glad he was found and sorry we still have a local missing in the water.

Sounds like the chief was protecting his soul for his family so they could find his body when it was time to lay rest.

That’s what my indigenous ancestors do when a person’s soul is trying to Rest In Peace. But after they do know their families have peace of mind that they are found they do finally rest and are still protected.

I was out there ground searching with your incredible search teams on Saturday. I used to dive in my younger days, and you couldn’t have coheres me into getting in that river as fast as it was moving. Your video doesn’t fully tell the whole story. Kathy is a wonderful person. She and her family deserve answers I pray come for them soon. Thank you for all for your efforts. I couldn’t make it back for day 2, so am curious for any info about results from Sunday.

People don’t realize how dangerous our river is until it’s to late.it slows down greatly as we get into summer but all that melt and rain makes this river pretty dangerous this time of year.

I spent many hours walking around that River when I was in The Reformers Unanimous Ladies Home . I live in Pittsburgh now but Rockford❤ still has a special place in my heart ❤ my 🙏prayers are with his family and the workers who are diligently trying to find him❤🙏

@@rodobrien3488 first they have worked with AWP A LOT ITS EITHER Missouri or Tennessee I think it’s Missouri every time AWP is in there area and have worked on a lot of the solved cases. Also Sam is no longer with AWP he put a video on his page but said now is not the time to discuss why he quit Sam Same the adventure man. And this is chaos divers go to his page there good I think this guy chaos divers he teaches diving there’s a school he teacher watch there video.

I have been on a binge of these guys and AWP and was just saying last night, It’d be interesting if they fully checked out the Rock…..then i saw this. The Rock river was named that due to how rocky and rough the river is. The amount of vehicles and bridge jumpers in that water past/present is absurd. Thank you guys for coming to my city to help a family. God bless guys.

Prayers for you and Ronnie to remain safe ... my biggest fear is drowning ... I can't imagine being on a river like that. You have the biggest heart for others and bringing some comfort for others' in their time of need... not many people would have the resolve and fortitude to do this most needed and difficult job. You guys are awesome. GOD will reward you much. Always be safe, and THANK YOU. In my opinion, we can do w/o music. I think it takes away from the situation. You don't have to talk every second, we can patiently watch and make it thru the silent parts!! If people can't then find another way to hear music. Just my opine, please ignore it if you want! Wow your in my city this river is a dumping ground for bodies unfortunately.I found a body while fishing just north of where you are by Davis park.

I had to pause video just 6 minutes in to say you guys are amazing. I watch alot of videos from multiple drivers and rescue teams. This is the first(thank god) I have seen in my area. I grew up boating on this river 30+ years ago. Over the years this river has became so dangerous. My in laws live on the river and to sit on their deck and watch it is flow is, wow. The currents and flooding of it are crazy. I don't go out on it anymore. Bless you for what you do to help the families with closer. Stay safe

If You Guys end up back in Rockford Illinois again Just so that u know you can count on me as a volunteer ! I been diving the rock river and it is not the best river to be diving in at all ! That's my birth state, it's a dangerous River. THAT River is no joke it's bad. Being born in this state I am not sure to be so proud of since they did nothing to find this young man. You all are so Amazing and Great Much Love to you all.

I wish they would give a bit of info about the person and Circumstances as to what happened. It almost seems like the video started without any context. There is no Investment and watching this video through because we know nothing about the person or what happened it's just we're looking for a body the end. Really appreciate all you do and I'm not trying to be critical I just think More explanation in context in the beginning of the video would help Keep the viewer watching.

You need to go more north if you want to find any cars that’s not really the area they are dumped in.most of the bodies found are either more north or below the dam. Sinnissippi and shorewood parks are notorious for finding cars and bodies.
