And now as our families are growing older. Our kids go to college and break out on their own we realize we’ve crossed that line. The best times are behind us.

Whats crazy is the crowd at the performances looks like my parents or even my grandparents. And I think even though i Still have long hair and am not grey and really look 10 years younger then my age. Like John Waite We are that old and even though this amazing music was popular in our time . I have to accept that This Future that we currently are living in is basically devoid of anything that we found musically appealing or exciting in our days. "Oh Well" I guess that's how our parents felt about this type of music .

Once upon a time, I was at a John Waite concert. I was in the very first row. I was 17 years old and I was in love with John Waite. He must have seen the love in my eyes, for in the middle of Head First, he placed his mic in front of me, for me to sing the next line. I knew each and every word. However, because of my intense feelings for him, I couldn't utter a sound. To this day, many moons later, I still recall this moment with fondness. I hope he wasn't pissed at me! For that line in the song wasn't sung, but one day, maybe I can tell him in person and maybe one day, I can sing that line. John Waite is wonderful. :-)
