“Nobody travels to Israel these days.”
That’s what we were told.
And as it turns out…that was true.
Most parts of the culturally rich country have not seen foreign travelers since the terrorist attacks of October 7th, 2023.
The Israelis, Palestinians, Jews, Arabs, Muslims, Christians and all other image bearers of God are hurting both financially from the lack of tourism and emotionally from the apparent hate across ethic divides.
That’s why we came- to experience the rich history of the Holy Land and send a message to all people throughout Israel and the West Bank: You are not forgotten. You are greatly loved.

I don’t know if everyone fully comprehends how unlikely it was that this group would be able to go in to Bethlehem at this time. Bethlehem is under” Palestinian “ control. Most Israeli guides cannot take groups in. Small groups can visit when they have contacts to help facilitate or groups led by other organizations but with the current war this ( in my opinion) was the result of Divine intervention. Thanks for taking us with you. I was there in 1985 and returned to Israel several more times over the years, but never was able to go back to Bethlehem…

I am taking my family in late May. I have a 9 year old son and a 7 year old daughter who is autistic. We booked via. Air Canada with one stop via. Montreal for around $1000 per ticket. We are staying at the New Imperial Hotel which is in the Old City walking distance from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. We will be taking a private tour to Bethlehem for 1 day. Its a bit expensive, around $900, but I feel pretty comfortable with the Guide, he speaks Arabic and is Christian Orthodox, which is also our faith. We are also considering going to LOD to see Saint George's Tomb. I have done a great deal of research on this and I think this might be the best time to go because you won't have to deal with the big crowds and can really be one with the sanctity of these Holy sites. I also think that any one that visits with the right intentions will be protected by the grace of the Holy Spirit. God bless you and may you visit some day.

I've really been enjoying these videos. I had always pictured baby Jesus being laid in a wooden trough with hay. Seeing that it was hard stone made me cry and just reminded me of all that He went through for us and how much He loves us.

I know it's not great for the folks who depend on tourists for their income, but I agree. This would be my ideal way to do it. I'd like the space and the quiet to really take this all in.

I had planned on visiting Jerusalem when I retired but, then, became disabled. Like you I thought I will never see the places where Jesus walked. I was praying about this one night when I heard a voice clearly say 'Yes you will see it, I'll take you'. Jesus will show us the places he walked when we return home to him. What an amazing tour guide he'll be xx

Thank you for these videos. I am truly grateful for them. Granger, I appreciate your more general approach to tying where you are to the historical events recorded for us in God's Word. I struggle sometimes with some of the things your tour guide, not sure of his name, says. For instance, he was talking about the area where you were that is called the Fields of Boaz. He clearly says that we can't say for sure if they were actually the Fields of Boaz. Then he says these COULD be the fields that Ruth walked in, and then he immediately follows that up with telling the group that they can tell people "for sure" that they saw the fields that Ruth walked in. That doesn't feel right. It doesn't all seem to line up exactly. Why not just say you were in the area where these events happened? Shouldn't that be good enough? I appreciate you letting us see all of this through different eyes, more historically accurate eyes, than what a lot of our legends lead us to believe. Can't wait for the next installment.

Another most gracious videos of y'all's mission to Israel. So much I'm seeing and so much I'm blessed to be a part of. So much to take in and be a part of my heart. Such a journey of Jesus walk and teaching and preaching. It just makes me humble over and over. I would be blessed if I ever got to go to Israel and take the journey y'all are taking. It's all beautiful. Learning the depth of Jesus and all of the journeys he took. Bethlehem is a beautiful name. I'm blessed to have a relationship with Jesus. His words in the bible are a blessing also. I can say again,God has been my Master for 64 years. Since I was 6 years old. I knew it was cave Jesus was born in. I've searched so much and learnt so much. Stone and a cave was where Jesus was born. If your not humbled from that,then I pray that anyone understands the depth of were He was born. Praise God for a such a special gift as your son Jesus Christ. ❤❤❤

Didn't finish the video yet, but you passed various edible plants whilst in the are where the battle took place. Wild mustard, a few others of note. But my favorite are these tall ones with the white and purple flowers! The flowers themselves are edible, and taste like floral sweet onions. Perfect for topping a salad of foraged greens and such!

I am humbled by the scene of where Jesus would have been born. It shatters all thoughts of what it would have looked like. Our saviour was born in a cave and laid in a bed made of stone. WOW mind blown
