“Nobody travels to Israel these days.”
That’s what we were told.
And as it turns out…that was true.
Most parts of the culturally rich country have not seen foreign travelers since the terrorist attacks of October 7th, 2023.
The Israelis, Palestinians, Jews, Arabs, Muslims, Christians and all other image bearers of God are hurting both financially from the lack of tourism and emotionally from the apparent hate across ethic divides.
That’s why we came- to experience the rich history of the Holy Land and send a message to all people throughout Israel and the West Bank: You are not forgotten. You are greatly loved.

Last year in February, a friend and I swam in the Dead Sea several times back and forth from group out to buoys. A truly memorable experience... so sad no one else is there.

We traveled to Israel back in 2017 and visited Masada. I heard recently that Harod had all sorts of fruit bearing plants/trees, orchards and massive gardens up there on Masada; quite a different look than what it currently stands. It was in June and incredibly HOT when we were there or I’d have pondered taking the snake path. Likely nobody would have wanted to wait on me. Thank you for this wonderful footage of the place I miss every single day of my life. So fabulous! (And I wasn’t even really excited to go but when I arrived I instantly fell in love with it. I’d go back TODAY if invited!)

I relish these morning clips: capturing the sunrise, reading the Bible, while smelling the smells & hearing the whispers of a new day in His Holy Land. It was worth the $100 fine to see that cave, you not the first as modern Israelis stack rocks in remembrance. The snake path is an endurance test. You are so lucky to visit Ein Gedi, but appears yall not on the regular trails.

Now David and his men were hiding far back in the cave. The men said to David, “Today is the day the LORD spoke of when he said, 'I will give your enemy over to you. (It goes on from there and is definitely worth studying.)

To bad they took you to the Northern shores of the Dead Sea, the South and Center is much nicer, with huge salt crystals, and sat beaches, the north is blah…
