The model she’s in is a 2006 Model D40LFR. Their in process of retirement at the moment due to an arrival of 90 Hybrids this year

It was great riding miway, I plan to again soon on another route The interesting thing about this ride was when it left Long branch and went along Lakeshore Rd., East it did not turn up north on Dixie from Lakeshore but on Ogden I was so looking forward to it turning on Dixie Road from Lakeshore later I checked with the driver and they said it doesn’t go that way but that’s the most scenic part that I wanted to take because there’s a golf course on the road to Dixie Valu Mall or Dixie outlet mall is it’s now called Also I’ve never been on a new flyer bus before I think this was my first time being on it in a long time and filming it so that was really interesting thanks for watching Alex!

@@PatreceSunflower Oh so it was your first time riding a New Flyer in decades! I never rode any New Flyers until those TTC electric buses entered service, don't think I rode the late 90s D40LFs when they were in service.

@@AlexGetsAroundTO I rode on a new flyer probably less than 10 years ago not decades I’m not old & I didn’t do bus videos at the time the last miway I rode was in December 2021 on the 1 or 3 Dundas one or the other from the new Kipling hub but it was extended so maybe not a new flyer?? and it is on my channel but my main point was that the bus took an odd route to me for being a Dixie bus!! I did see by car many times it’s mainly a golf course from Dixie lakeshore rd E, but the bus didn’t go that way ☺️
