My 7yr. old heard this on the regular show and said I like this and the belted out really loud MISSISSIPPI QUEEN, and I just fell on the floor laughing!!! It's funny to me because I remember the tune from the radio when I was a kid and even though I was more in to Funk and Soul music I always dug this song, and now 42 years later my kid digs it too.

I saw Leslie West play at a state fair like 30+ years ago somewhere (it was real hot) and he opened up with Mississippi Queen- back to the audience- playing a micro- miniature Les Paul. I still remember the shiver I got (remember, it was hot) when he turned around and faced the audience, playing the intro note for note. He was totally cool.
