4 жыл бұрынA change of plans is in order to make this route a little more enjoyable. No need to make it a suffer-fest. Beautify day for riding as I leave Nelson Dewey State Park and make my way back over the Mississippi River into Marquette Iowa.

I REALLY like your videos! It looks like you always find some amazing, not-too-much traffic roads to ride and great places to camp. The Midwest looks like a wonderful place to bicycle tour. Keep those videos coming!

Sounded like a good declension to re route. I find 40 -50 miles a day to be my happy limit. Headed to Niagara Falls in Sept. You found some really good roads. Take care and safe cycling, Al

Thanks for watching! For loaded touring I usually aim for 55 as my average, but with more hills that changes. I need a to come up with a formula lol. I have been debating fitting the Erie canal in this year. Even possible a long tour from Cincinnati to Albany. Still haven't decided though.

@@bikingbrian I've ridden most of the Erie Canal route. Very nice, very flat. Lots of small towns to pass through and good free camping at the canal locks. If you announce it ahead of time I'd love to join you.
