@Sharpeillusions That should never be. If my son hadn’t been with me the one time I won at 3 card, I’da been screwed. He had to correct the dealer, too. I had no clue. Imagine this dealer at a full table. 🙄

I’ve spent 13 years working in the oil field but during a lay off I went and dealt cards in a casino. Hardest job I’ve ever had. The pressure you feel standing up dealing in front of people, doing quick math, handing checks and bills, hands per hour, eye in the sky calling down and making suggestions, all while conversing and being polite and dealing with mean/cheap players. Granted I was very good at it and this dealer needs some work but we all make mistakes. Having to know every game and every payout is tough. Most people don’t even know how to play the game, let alone deal is correctly. Try learning to deal craps. Then you can comment on people dealing haha

@aronmick659 No, most times, it doesn't get fixed. You walk out being paid incorrectly. I see it on a lot of channels, and I deal at the casino. They need better training.

Wizard of Odds has all of the details on this game and the best plays (for example if you have a small pocket pair like 4s you should triple that first bet and then downsize if you don't hit). Personally I almost always look at the first card unless I have two losers that are unsuited (eg. 5\3 off) - even those small cards like 2\3 suited is how you hit straight flushes in this game. But appreciate seeing Mississippi Stud since it's my fav game - more please!

Rules for Mississippi Stud are simple. Always see card 1 if the following: straight or flush possibilities, or at least 1 pay card, 2 push pair or better. Card 2 and 3 means you keep getting at least push options, your straight or flush draws are still valid.

I was dealer, mostly dealt this game. The stratagy of this game is, 6 thru 10 is one point, 10 thru Ace is 2 points. After the two cards are dealt, you need 2 points to bet 1st dealer catd you need 3 points, after 2nd dealer card, you need 4 points to bet. Basic Mississippi Stud stratagy 4:02

Any 10 to 1 payout is fairly simple to figure out. To figure out each payout simply add a zero to the end of any denomination. Example $60 + a zero at the end = $600.
