LN is the natural log, or log to base e. You can use it, but will need to take the natural log of both sides. In the video I am using the log to indices conversion that you find in the log tables on page 21. If you do use LN you will need to use your laws of logs as well. I hope this helps!

@@shann4967 If this is the answer you got using Natural Logs (LN) then I think you have your division the wrong way around. You should get t = ln1.3/ln1.035.
