@Esther Com and @sss p I didn't mention money. It's not always about money. Some dads do help. I live in the west and it's not seen very often here. I was talking about "culture" and what Wode spend is NOT our business. The West has busy lives and doing so much that we do not have time to even consider taking on someone else's responsibility. I was speaking of time and consideration to help each other. Just a reminder for some: Be happy for others blessings and accomplishments instead of judgement. You can have the same blessings just apply yourself. Don't envy someone by what you say. Trudy and Wode helps that's why their blessings are flowing.

Not all private schools are international schools, some do run an International Curriculum.

So if you hear someone in Ghana say I attend International School, that does not literally mean that they attend international school. What they literally mean is that, they attend a private school, simple. These words are largely misapplied. For example Ghanaians largely call every washing powder Omo, meanwhile Omo is just one of the brands of washing powder. Another example is Pepsodent, most people call toothpaste Pepsodent. Hi @@patiencepaintsil3050 basic public schools are free under FCUBE and have been for years. Emphasis on Public. If you remember, this government’s main aim was to extend the free education beyond basic schools to include secondary schools. Private schools will always have to be paid for. If you’re paying fees to be in a public school anywhere in Ghana, it’s illegal.
