I was there. Barclays Arena is not great for dancing (at least in the nosebleed section) and this was the finale to a 5 hour program.

I like Missy Elliot. She deserves HOF recognition for her innovative work. However, Queen Latifah and other rap pioneers are equally if not more influential in different ways. They deserved to be inducted before Missy.

It’s not like the Awards shows . They don’t do categories. They put , all the Music Nominees , together on the list . For that Year . Then the Panel. They calculates the Votes. of the Nominees . The Top Nominees . They get Inducted in the Rocking n Roll Hall of Fame. For that Year .
