I got Missy, but I'm stunned the Philly contingent didn't ride with Eve. Pusha and Chris Brown is from Virginia, so of course you knew who they was selecting. Ginuwine was part of a crew with Missy so there's that. But Scott Storch got his big break from Eve introducing him to Dr. Dre. Kevin Hart and Amber Rose didn't represent. Heck Michael Blackson was the only dude who repped Philly who picked Eve.

(Missy) 14 - 2 (E V E) is absolutely WILD! I understand Why most of them picked Missy because of her creativity, skill, talent, potential & overall abilities in General but 14-2?? HOT DAMN! The DisresPeK is REAL on this one! Missy Elliott can pretty much do it all. She's a trendsetter, a pioneer, a trailblazer but I look at Eve as RAW Hip Hop! Missy can bring that raw, real deal, feel type of boom bap hip hop too but I feel like that's Eve's wheelhouse. Eve REALLY used to bring that RAW hip hop to the mainstream, the underground AND the radio airwaves! Missy was different but so was Eve. I think the difference is that Missy became more successful, dropped more hits & was a multi-dimensional type of talent. Eve was more of a one or two-dimensional type of talent, in terms of Music. Missy reminded me a little of Lauryn Hill, while Eve reminded me of a female Nas or a DMX. Missy was an artist who could both sing & rap but Eve was a raw & hardcore type of MC. She could RAP her a$$ off 4 real! Eve was in the category of people like Rah Digga, MC Lyte, old school Latifah, Salt N' Pepa, Lisa Left Eye, Foxy Brown, Lil' Kim (sorta but not really), a female Nas, a female DMX, a female Beans (Beanie Siegel) or even a female Kiss (Jadakiss). Eve was str8 HIP HOP, even though she had a few radio cuts & her own tv show. No disrespect to Missy but Eve should have gotten a few more votes, in my opinion. Highly underrated.

I listened to both of them when i was a little girl. So it's very hard to choose because they are both female legends in rap music. Eve has gangsta hits and Missy has comedic and dope hits. But I would choose Eve cause of her song love is blind which had a deep message on domestic violence.
