Missy Tells Jase Not to Come Home After His Sermon & Impersonating Godwin | Ep 874

Jase is instructed by Missy not to come home after his most recent sermon or he’d find a house full of women, and the guys perform their hilarious Godwin impersonations. Al reveals the unique way Phil was able to set Godwin up for coming to Jesus over decades, and a power failure throws a wrench in the episode, but the guys and producer Madi roll with the punches. Jase recalls the only times he was ever in a bar when he actually put on a “disguise” so he wouldn’t be recognized. The guys rehash Jase’s sermon on the book of Hebrews and its one central theme.

Just finished watching The Blind for the 3rd time, still just as good if not better than the first time. I watched it with my friends who didn't know Phil's story, all of them believers, but were still moved to tears as a result. Y'all did a great job with that movie

Playing golf on Sunday..... Announcing self indulging? Wouldn't you wanna be out doing service or healing others after Church the rest of the day. It's not a check off list of preaching at Church and done. The rest of that Sabbath Day should be exhausted at the end of the day of feasting upon the scriptures or out doing good for others. Am I about having fun- ABSOLUTELY! However, keeping the Sabbath Day Holy has many interpretations. To be selfless the whole day is worth it being that discipline for our Savior! ❤

Having a wedding shower reminded me of the story Jase told about going dove hunting and then being asked by Missy to pick up a pizza. While waiting for the pizza Jase was cleaning the doves in the parking lot of the pizza place. The manager was coming out a couple of times to keep an eye on Jase. lol

Listening is just as important as speaking. Have you ever once had the thought "Phil has spent a lot of years talking. Now he is seeing how his messages came through ". Not everyone needs to hear themselves, lmao. This family is secure and they all respect each other. If you can't relate andbdon't like the whole family then don't watch and complain. The rest of us are fine with their show.
