This isn't like what others are doing. Only thing is the triplet flow and the producer using 32nd note hi hats. That makes the song not dated. Still has her harmonies and flow. Timbaland been doing that a lot recently too. Listen to the songs on last season of Empire. Timbaland trap beats may don't sound like everybody elses.

I love Azealia Banks and I would LOVE it if Missy brought her up so she can get an audience that doesn't have a love-hate relationship with her. Azealia Banks has some stuff that reminds me of Missy(who has been my favorite since I was 5), BUT I have to disagree with you saying she sounds like everyone else. Yes, the beat does sound more like what's on the radio(that's probably so she can get a following/marketing), but her vocals, her lyrics, her flow are all the same as she has always been since late 90s. Her flow does have that "new rap" thing going on, but it also bounces back on her old skool style too. Plus, she's actually singing and not doing that fake singing shit when she sings. Give her some credit.

I can't agree with that statement. Not enough evidence. Artists for years have created video, like other art that is abstract, of a person appearing to exist under water.
