And a version of the East India Company with a guy who sits in his captain's cabin and broods 24/7. I'm not complaining about these things. I'm just saying that this isn't meant to be a historical series.

The map for the fountain of youth was dated 1523? It is reported he made t he discovery in 1513? Why couldn't he have made the map 10 years after the discovery? That doesn't strike me as being a big mistake.

These are like mistakes when you pause every frame to check something inaccurate. Nah, I'm not really bothered. Plot holes would interest me, but this? Oh come on, you've never really seen that cowboy until somebody points it at you, or that stern that's fixed for a brief moment, or the ring on the wrong finger? The car tracks? I just thought they were from some big wheeled carriage. The height of Cruz? The pistol lock? And those feathers on Barbossa's hat were bloody awesome. Anyways, nitpicking is not really enjoyable and rather annoying actually. Even some non potc fans can agree with me.

1. That is for effect, if they'd be reloading during the action sequences, what is the action about it? Jack would have easily escaped. Not defending historical inaccuracy, it just makes sense from a movie pacing perspective. 2. That mistake is definitely not hard to ignore. I have watched the movies about 5 times and never noticed. 3. Another half a frame mistake that is very easy to ignore or miss. Your title is starting to look shaky. 4. Most of the problems you said aren't really problems just things that seem like them. Also, can you just assume that maybe the Ponce de Leon only found the foundation of youth a decade after he set sail? Like why would pirates know when he set sail, when the island they find in the 4th movie was nowhere near a Spanish or even English territory? Like it's believable that he set sail for a place that is very heard to find, and had to stop at pirate or "Free" territory for resupply for his men? And they find out that he found it first?

Most of the continuity "errors" aren't a perfect time line of current events. In other words, you don't need to see men reloading guns (are they the same men?), or it may not have been the *exact* same spot Turner gets knocked out where the fish guts were, or not *seeing* Jack Sparrow fix his rings... c'mon. These are not mistakes...

One mistake I noticed in the curse of the black pearl when jack was escaping is how did he zipline down the rope when both his hands were handcuffed? How do you put your hands around the rope and use the chains to zip line?

Maybe you should actually talk about proper movie mistakes because the hat with feathers "mistake", I'll tell you an ACTUAL movie mistake: When Jack asks Blackbeard's guard if he'll survive the fall (in the 4th movie), the guard takes a doll which looks like Jack, which Blackbeard made for some voodoo stuff to control Jack through a doll, and the guard threw it down into water he survives, because the doll went in the water, but the doll sank but it didn't drown Jack. Now that's a mistake.

That hat is the same my beloved Barbossa wears in the previous movies and it has feathers!

How about there where jack sparrow ran away after saving the princess he magically got his hands through the rope to get to the other way and got them off magically again

The biggest mistake i think and this goes for other movies too in this genre is how no one dies. No one that's important anyway. I get it its because they want to make sequels but it makes these movies too predictable. Just my opinion don't judge me!

I have the worst mistake(s) in Potc 1 Barbossa says that he and his crew cannot feel anything. Yet the one with the wooden eye screams"Hot hot hot" When Elizabeth dropped the coal of her bed-warming-device onto him. Also Barbossa feels that the dress of her is still warm when she took it of whilst walking the plank.
