Know your league scoring.... Definitely important, especially when I was looking for rushing yards during one baseball draft. Yeah, August can be confusing, lol.

When you draft a few hitting players in a no hits nhl fantasy league. 100% agree, go over your league scoring before draft haha.

Pitching has careened. I can't believe a pitcher as basic as Luis Castillo is a Top 5 guy. I would totally get the strategy to just go with pitchers in late rounds or less than $7 bucks in auction leagues.

Keep your eye on Ruiz this year, he isn't Juan Pierre or Billy Hamilton, he had 3 homers last September, with a .500 slug. He worked on his power and hitting this winter, and he even had 12 homer power in the minors. All that with over 50 steals, maybe 70 or more.

Playing in a H2H categories league for the first time this year, used to only do points. I'm kind of strategizing like HR, SB, R, and RBI are all 1 point, adding those up, and adjusting my player rankings based on each players total. 5th category is OPS so im not basing too much off that. Anyone got advice or criticisms for doing my Batters rankings this way? Seem like a decent strat?

Completely disagree with reaching for pitchers.. there are plenty of guys in the mid rounds that can hit some of the categories.. much harder to find hitters that offer the same value mid to late round . Think Kirby , eovaldi last year

@Captain_AAhab_ what happened to him is unjust..he's said he is a risk to an MLB team because of the accusations, but he legitimately was proven not guilty

Is it too much to ask to consider POINTS leagues when giving advice? We’re not interested in rations, targeting steals necessarily, ERA, etc. Put in parentheses what type of league you’re giving advice about, so us Points league Peeps don’t waste time viewing. 1 mistake that could kill your audience…..disregarding POINTS leagues! They EXIST!
