We have got a porch awning and each time we put it up the sides near to the van always flap. When we went to waudbys caravan shop, they told us to peg the sides down near to side of van first. Then peg the rest of the awning out, so next time we use it will do that first. We ended up taking it down last time at east in the wind and rain as it kept us awake all night flapping. Xx

You mentioned seasonal pitches a while ago and I’ve been looking into it for a while. Depending on where in the country you want to be camping the forest have quite a few sites and pretty reasonable prices 👍

OMG Steve, your finger ….. 😮 Hope you’re ok now, but yeah, these things are lethal. I’ve got the exact same one and I never use it without a kitchen cut resistant glove. I know someone who cut half her finger flesh on a mandoline … yeah … lethal! Still, as always, of course, I thoroughly enjoyed the vlog xx
