Amazing work here! You're gonna make a lot of arcade cabinet owners happy with this thoughtfully designed piece of kit. Love the amount of options you worked into it and the direct integration into MiSTer as a replacement IO board, integrated SNAC; the works! That looks so perfect for light gun games.

Man, I love the video, but next time I think would be good to use a low pass filter on the audio whenever you record near to a CRT. I went crazy with that high pitch noise just like a dog with a dog whistle.

Is it possible to put some kind of friendlier, more conventional front end on this that might show game screenshots, etc? Also would it be possible to run vertical games letterboxed on a horizontally aligned CRT? Awesome work.

I love the look and function of the mistercade board you are developing. using a jamma to mister is a great way to go when one wants to push beyond mame or retropie. i have a question and to me it is huge. If we want to use old arcade cores, ms pac, galaga, DonkeyKong, space invaders, you know all the old early 80's stuff and if we want to do a cocktail table cabinet, DOES THE MISTER CADE ALLOW TWO CONTROLLER INPUTS? you know, first for player one at one end of the table and only player 1 controls work and then when the screen flips for player 2, only player 2 controllers work. I know Mame will do it. i think PI will do it, but i can't for the life of me get Mister to do it. Thank you for your great and very smart work! astals

What settings will you use to rotate the vertical games? I'm also using MiSTer in my (custom) cabinet but it uses a 15 kHz TV that I can't physically rotate.

What about turning it off and on? Hi score saves? I see this on the forum as not yet sorted, so do u need to keep a mister memory active while in some kind of standby?

How is this going to communicate with the arcade cabinet controls?? connector is USB that I know, but what protocol is using? its a parallel or serial?? I would like to have 0 input lag if possible, or at least something on par with the original hardware , when is this going to be released to the public??, I would like to get a pair of these units, but I don't have a MISTer yet.

So this is a new board that you can hook up to an arcade so you can have mister in like an arcade environment? Will this eventually be in your online store? Is there a way to change the orientation monitor setup from vertical vs horizontal or do you need two arcade cabs, 1 for vertical games and 1 for horizontal games?
