So stoked to play some Elevator Action, Smash TV, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, and Mortal Kombat arcade cores.

T2 and MK were just examples of games that used the hardware that was being improved by the work on NARC (other Midway Z Unit and Williams/Midway Y Unit games). There is no core for those yet. Things are looking good though!

@@emmettturner9452 Yeah, we are likely several months away from seeing these as fully working cores, but it's still exciting to see the progress that's being made.

Loving those new cores coming out. It will be awesome to play them. Elevator Action and Wonder Planet look great 🙂 Thanks for another great week of news, Lu. Cheers!

I’m kind of confused about the s-video adapter. I thought the whole point of the YC cores was that you only needed a passive adapter.
@LusRetroSource Жыл бұрын
A passive adapter is fine if you're just using S-Video. The active adapter helps with cleaning up composite video. UltimateMister sells a passive adapter.

@@LusRetroSource Oh I see. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Love your videos. Do you have a bias against the computer cores, or are most of the developments naturally on the games side of things? I have no interest in the MiSTer as a games machine but there seem to be few updates about new things happening in the computer cores.
@LusRetroSource Жыл бұрын
Anything specific you want me to talk about with the computer cores. I do enjoy using the MiSTer as a computer too.
@frnno967 Жыл бұрын
@@LusRetroSource Not in particular, although the C128 core is an interest of mine lately. Wasn't trying to be critical at all. Was just wondering if there's more activity with the game cores in general or if you prefer the game ones because the audience does. Most of the videos seem to usually focus on games. But I love the content either way, thanks!

Keen to know how this composite adapter compares with antoniovillena - didnt you try that one?

I have an adapter that Mike sent me and am doing tests on it.

@@LusRetroSource I'd love to see a comparison video at some point if you can swing it. Video capture might be tricky though. Alternatively, i feel like that might be something up Bob's alley from RetroRGB as well

Truxont 1 and 2 are still not available through the update all script? I'm not totally sure how to get these and how to get them to work. Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you!! :)

The song is called Perfect Stranger by Seventh Gear. I obtained it from the Free Music Archive while searching for chiptune like music there. Here is the direct link to the song: freemusicarchive.org/music/Seventh_Gear/Gunshot/04__-Seventh_Gear-__Perfect_Stranger_-_Gunshot/

Your clips are mislabeled, you rushed it

Can you please specify what I mislabeled. I just went through the video and each scene was labeled correctly.
