@@JohnDoe69986 'Having our moments' is very different from what the first comment implied - being "constantly disrespected" is not a moment, and being disrespectful throughout your youth signifies very bad parenting or lacking empathy. That's what I was referring to. Then there are also children who are much more mature than adults and have a deep sense for understanding others, who would never bully or if then only in rare exceptions - which would be the part where forgiveness and understanding for them comes in. I still don't see why you should excuse or explain constant abuse with them being young - that mindsets just raises bullies.

Kids don’t understand love and how to treat people it’s why there kids there still figuring it out. It’s why kids tend to not understand there parents till they leave home and have kids of there down. I used to regret not spending time w my aunt because I didn’t realize how much she cared me for me my whole life. I realized when I was an adult. It’s not my fault I was a kid I didn’t understand. Scene shows innocence becoming destroyed in a literally violent way. Sansa was making her very youthful and naturally childish gripe in one moment about her sister supposedly being such a clutz at dancing, to running to barricade herself before she's grabbed by men who would kill her nanny in the next moment. It's a pretty tragic scene. There's something about the abrupt transition from carefree innocence to total horror that I kind of like about this scene, though it's sad.

Right? Septons, septas and Silent Sisters we're supposed to be considered members of the "church," and this pretty much apolitical. The worst they were supposed to do is send Mordane to live in a secluded sept for the rest of her life. But then again, the books talk about Lannister men under Clegane raping Silent Sisters, supposedly the MOST sacred of them all.

That scene reminds me about Sister Joana Angélica, a catholic nun that lived in Brazil during our War of Independence. According to what I read, Joana Angélica and other nuns were taking care of wounded brazilian soldiers at their Convent when portuguese soldiers invaded the place. Sister Joana then put herself in front of the portuguese soldiers so they wounded had time te escape. She was killed by the portuguese with bayonet blows and is now considered the first Hero of Independence of Brazil.

I don't understand people in the comments. Sansa loved her Septa very much. In the books she remembers her often. Septa taught Sansa everything she likes, sewing, manners, reading etc. Arya was the one who hated these things and didn't want to spend time with her learning what the Ladies have to learn. And then as far as I remember, only once does Sansa disrespect her, but otherwise Sansa is always obedient to Septa and her mother.

It’s 1200 mi back to Winterfell, like 800 mi back to full Stark-ally lands. We don’t have no jet planes. How are they gonna get there without recapture, dying of starvation or worse ? Arya made it where she was going because a variety of powerful and violent men did lots of violence. Best case scenario they would have been picked right back up and re-sold to Cersei, probably by Littlefinger spies. More likely, brutalized and hacked in a ditch.

She was still shallow and clueless by the time she took Littlefinger's offer. The showrunners just magically endowed her with instant knowledge out of nowhere rather than actually showing her EARN it with study. As if Sansa of all people knows d1ck about how armor is supposed to be produced in the north or anywhere else considering the utter disdain she showed for Arya's pursuit of male talents and knowledge.

@NomadHorizons
@NomadHorizons 2 жыл бұрын
@@kiamaria331 Not quite. The girls and Bran were really the only ones that HAD to learn lessons and clearly did so. Robb inherited the North and didn't live long enough to learn the most important lesson (loyalty to kin and honouring agreements with dangerous allies). Jon Snow made a choice to go to the wall when he could easily have followed Eddard to Kings Landing or stayed in Winterfell to become a trusted lieutenant of his brother Robb - he chose a harsh life out of pride when he had better options. Rickon was too young to learn anything and simply died in the show before having any character at all. Sansa's greatest lesson was not to trust anyone who was not family. She betrayed family once in Kings Landing through foolishness, and then betrayed herself by trusting Littlefinger (who murders Lysa Arryn in front of her) which led her to more trauma in Winterfell. It's only by finally trusting prickly family (Arya) over elders with smiling faces (concealing daggers) that she finally learns her lesson. For Arya the lessons are continuous - she is the most interesting of the Stark's because her character is continuously evolving to become less a piece on the board, and more a player of the game. For Bran the first lesson is by far the hardest (don't climb tall buildings boy!!), but the later lesson was the most important - when a centuries old elder tells you what the rules of Green Seering are, you are supposed to listen 😑

@@NomadHorizons Jon too. Jon's whole disillusionment arc when he first joined the Nights Watch. Like Sansa, his head was full of stories and he was disappointed by the reality.
