Metal in microwave: sparking only occurs at sharp angles. If you place round object in there, the electrons won’t have a point to accumulate at, and therefore will not arc.

8:59 I have one of those and I love it it’s very nice the only problem is it doesn’t have an on and off switch so once u plug it in it starts and when you unplug it, it turns off Edit: oh and when you use it I recommend putting a sausage in the middle personally I think it tastes better like that
