Misti Light had been a high-functioning alcoholic and drug addict for most of her adult life. But when Misti was arrested for drug-related theft, she hit rock bottom, losing her children and her home. In jail, under forced sobriety, Misti began attending AA meetings and reimagining her life. When she was released, none of Misti's family came to get her and she became homeless for the first time. With nowhere else to turn - and fearing a relapse on the streets - Misti called the Rescue Mission's Women's Center in Salt Lake City for help. That's when her life really began to change.
