A few years before IHOP existed, the Agape Fellowship (or "House of Agape") was thriving in Kansas City and exercised "shepherding". Life decisions were dictated by "shepherds", couples were prophesied to get married. Similar abuse. Agape Fellowship imploded.

Austin is not functioning at the house of prayer, but he seems to have made a full time commitment to social media complaining. I PROMISE you, that is not God’s will either. Clean your slate with forgiveness, you should because now. Bond yourself to Jesus and serve Him. It’ll be a great life!

I got saved at 17 and was part of the Vineyard in CA, I made decisions to go to school of ministry, spent years of my life that eventually ended with me in KC when it was Metro Vineyard those were all my decisions, I took responsibility for all of them, I missed going to college, years later without a college degree I ended up the general manager of a manufacturing company thats what I do now. Individuals follow God, quit the crying and blaming of others for life decisions, adhere to being a victim and you will reap the life of a victim / cry baby.

In my opinion, it seems like that is something they deliberately and consistently practiced. Get a show going (ONE Thing) with a demograph of young kids fresh out of high school or some college. Present the gospel theatrically. Convince them to spend money to be their as part of their righteous and Christ loving movement. Then take the kid's money. How much did it cost for this kid to be there for 7 years whilst being led to be there by false prophecy? It's not just seven years of his life, it's money spent, also, to be there for 7 years.

Don’t forget. MOTIVE is Everything. I believe these continuous Accusation are exactly that. Worthless Lies. The accuser is desperately on the Move.
@mattattack19862 ай бұрын
@@dbaxley4342 What would be the motive of somebody that has nothing to gain from these accusations? I think it's accountability. If these are just a flood of lies why isn't Mike Bickle or Misty Edwards sounding the alarm, or taking legal action over defamation among other things? Why is ihopkc for the most part shutting down and rebranding itself instead of calling out all of these supposed false accusations? Why aren't they taking action and not having a thorough legal investigation? There is no need for them to be passive or quiet if they are innocent. SIDE NOTE. I feel like a lot of people that went to ihopkc don't want to believe the things Misty, Mike and other people in leadership did because they looked up to them. I'm sure they had great biblical teachings, but they lived an unbiblical lifestyle that negatively affected a lot of people, and I don't think they have the willingness to hold themselves accountable like anyone held in a biblical leadership position should.

How do you know it’s false prophecy. God uses flawed people dear friend. Yes, these people were flawed. SEXUALLY. Am I validating that. Of course not. But, God uses flawed people. I’ve seen it since I began my spirit-filled journey in 1979. Sometimes it takes a minute too reach maturity. Sometimes, there remain strongholds in ministers lives. You know that their real followers when the stronghold is broken. And though there were sad decisions God does NOT DESTROY His Purposes or the Ones He has CHOSEN too carry them out. The older one becomes, the more one realizes this. God re-shapes, purifies, and REFINES, his people, and His Purposes in and through them. “He makes ALL things Beautiful in His Time” !! “HIS TIME”. ….! Throwing out the Prophetic Gift is Not the answer too fullness in Jesus. It’s not the answer for the future climate coming too this world. It’s not the Answer for an End Time remnant church. He began His church with the out pouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts. He spoke prophetic words through His disciples. He sent a Prophetic word to David, through a prophet ! He forgave His sins though there were consequences. He made him King Victorious. God is the authority that brings the Refining. The church in this debacle has declared Destruction. The Authoritarian, Controlling Church has adopted the humanistic dictatorial demand of world. And then that go vote for a mad-man who Carry’s the antichrist spirit within him. And wants America run by a Strongman, Dictator, “Unified Reich”… whose the sickest, my friend.

I dont even think money was the main motive, but sexual perversion seems to be a huge motive, college students and kids dont have money remember. God please comfort everyone affected by

I am ex IHOPKC'er myself, but in all honesty, this young man was not tricked. He was just another of thousands of victims of prophetic abuse for sure, but at the end of it all, he will still be accountable for his choices, albeit bad. He needs to repent of his own gullibility, forgive his tormentors, and go forward. At least that is the path I found that is according to the Bible.
@mattattack19862 ай бұрын
Where does the bible say a person needs to repent of gullibility? Proverbs speaks on it, and says to be wise and weigh every word you hear, but the Bible doesn't say repent if you fell for false prophetic abuse. Test the prophecy yes. He isn't guilty though.

@@mattattack1986 I read in 1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. Many do not do that and I think 2 Tim 4:3,4 tells us why: " For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears they will heap for themselves teachers: and they will turn their ears away from the truth and be turned aside to fables." IMO, that means we hear what we want to hear lots of the time and do not test the spirits and that IMO is what needs to be repented of...

HE WAS A NEW CONVERT for God's sake!! A babe in Christ and barely an adult by law. WOW...have a bit of sympathy 🙄
@mattattack19862 ай бұрын
@@alanmittan4651 So you should have said originally "in your opinion", instead of being legalistic. You don't know the guy personally or exactly how that situation played out. Assuming he is guilty and not a victim leans more towards projecting a fear based theology. That also, what @narrowgates7895 is saying. If he's brand new to Christianity it's easy to be convinced by somebody(Misty Edwards) who's projected as a "veteran" of sorts within the body of Christ of false prophecy.

"...He needs to repent of his own gullibility..." I can't believe you spoke those words. You have a calloused heart.
