Jared B ain’t got nothing to do with his nationality. Chad, Marvin and Kenny are all well liked by everyone. It’s styles of riding that people don’t like.
@Metaworldpeace2
@Metaworldpeace2 4 жыл бұрын
Mark and Shannon Doucette It mostly has everything to do with nationality. Us American fans obviously want to see our guys win but that doesn’t give anybody a reason to boo. Musquin was booed at the podium at Southwick last year with people making hateful comments. Same thing w ferrandis in supercross. There’s been very few times where an American rider has been booed by the majority of fans.

Thomas Coty I was there at Southwick when they booed him, dude beat tomac straight up and got booed because he’s French.

@@Metaworldpeace2 Ricky got booed for almost an entire season in 2004. JS got booed anytime he came together with Chad. It may have a little to do with him being French, but it has more to do with the fact that he was running faster and could've passed clean, but chose to take out Christian Craig. At what would be considered Craig's local SX. He had a lot of fans in the stands. They would've booed Justin Cooper or Austin Forkner for that take out. If you don't believe that ask Barcia.
@Metaworldpeace2
@Metaworldpeace2 4 жыл бұрын
skooli2 i’m just saying when these french guys take someone out they get hated for it partly because of the take out but more so because their nationality. I get that if forkner took craig out the fans would’ve booed too but it just made it a whole lot worse because he is french. people can’t see him as just another racer they see him differently because he has a different background.

This dude impressed the mess out of me in 2018. Some fans helped Ferrandis get his motorcycle out of the fence at the Unadilla round and after he negotiated the next left hander , raised his hand in appreciation(how many other riders would do this?)! In a day and age where thank you is considered antiquated or “old school”, this proved this young man does have some character and values the fan base! Even Langston and Weigandt thought that was cool. 🤙

The guy tries to win. Simple as that. I don’t think he ever intends on taking anyone out, the take out of Craig wasn’t intentional although it looked intentional. Nothing wrong with some rubbing while racing. Super cross is a rough sport. If you don’t like it go watch synchronized swimming you pussies.

Ya they said the same about Barcia, Plessinger, Osborne, Musquin, Roczen, Hill, M.Stewart, Baggett, Wilson, Boggle even Webb. Not to many people adapt to the 450. Roczen did a decent job so did Musquin. Webb finally came around but Tomac and AC are the only two riders I have seen make the jump and start winning (in Adam's case come very close) right away since the RC4 JS7 CR22 RV2 and RD5 days. So it's doubtful that a 25 year old rider with only 6 SX and 6 MX wins total in his 4th year of Racing in the US will get any wins in the 450 class!

Ferrandis is a joy to watch! I really think he just chose the wrong guy to be that aggressive with. Craig is another beloved name in the sport. One that has already endured a lot of hardship in his career. If that move would've put Craig out again it would've damn near been a tragedy. That being said, this is a sport that requires aggression at the pro level. All in all. I hope to get to watch Ferrandis compete in the USA for years to come! Can't wait to see how he mixes it up with the 450 guys! Riding style is artistic. Smooth and somehow at times still obvious he's on the ragged edge. Maybe a bit like Stew was. Bagget, Barcia and RV were on 250s. So very excited to see how Ferrandis adapts to 450s and the way that class is raced!

Ferrandis is a beast that’s all there is to it... stopping at nothing to make a win. That’s a beast. I think Jeffrey Herlings would dominate outdoors here too no doubt he’s the fastest in outdoors there is right now 💯

Always felt like he was a good dude but when he makes an unintentionally over aggressive move... just own up to it. There isn't anyone who could have sent CC a## over tin cups like that and not get booed. I know Dylan didn't mean to...but the first words out of his mouth should have been "Sorry Christian, I really wanted the win and got impatient and did something stupid". Then everyone would have put it behind them.

Ok but in any sport there should be this unwritten rule that if the rider that got taken out or you spun out a fellow driver on the race track you shouldn’t have to kiss his ass!!! I mean you all know why your there to win the prize and make money other wise why are you there just to play around I mean you could do that at home on your own track with friends!!!! I rode with friends at the farm all the time and we even would bet with our own money!!! But if you wipe someone out you never had to apologize for it I mean I get sportsmanship and all that stuff!!! But hell you never had to kiss anyone’s ass just because you made an aggressive move to win!!!

People need to shut up and stop booing Fernandez. He’s a good guy, he’s humble, and he’s not malicious in any way. When millions of dollars are on the line, there’s not a single person who boo’s him that wouldn’t do what they needed to do. Nothing he’s done was done out of anger or revenge. You guys act like he’s Alessi or Bambam. If you want to continue to boo someone, boo Bambam because that guy has maliciously taken out more people on purpose than just about anyone in the sport.

I had fun booing him at A1. Nothing personal. If I’m going to pay $45 a piece for the cheapest tickets and $30 to park my car. I want to feel like I’m part of the event. He’s part of what’s making supercross great again. Bring on May 31👊✊️ BRAAP BRAAAP....
