i remember going through these integration bee videos with my friends when studying for ap calc bc (the ap test is easy, but my high school teacher would like to make his tests very challenging) doing the integrals isn't very difficult, but its the sheer mental speed and intuition that allows them to solve these in mere seconds thats absurdly impressive

This was not a super difficult question (I was thinking MIT might give extremely tough ones). The speed at which he solved was truly remarkable. When I was preparing for JEE ADVANCE I used to solve them but it took 5-7minutes for one question.

The fun part is that the integral is pretty easy, the trick is that you expect something more difficult and you don’t think in a simple polynomial division and a partial fraction.
