Jim McCarty (guitar) and Johnny B (drums) were both in the Detroit Wheels and later The Rockets. The latter scored a Top 40 hit with their cover of Oh Well. A great, unsung Detroit Rock City band.

I once told Mitch Ryder the original Fleetwood Mac 45rpm of "Oh Well" was the first record I ever bought. "You have good taste," he said.
