IMPORTANT NOTE: The construction of the factory carrier bearing contains a large rubber bushing. An inherent trait of this bushing is soaking up any/all vibrations that your factory driveline may have.
These vibrations can be caused by
1. Out of Balance drive shaft
2. Dents or damage from off-roading
3. Incorrect pinion angle from aftermarket lift
4. Worn out slip yoke
This carrier bearing will eliminate that rubber bushing that may have been previously masking these vibrations & bring them to your attention.
It should be noted that this Carrier Bearing assembly itself is NOT at fault.
Please run down the list above to resolve any vibrations you may have after installation.

TIP FOR ANYONE DOING THIS JOB: Think ahead and install the U joints to where the grease fittings aren’t blocked by any bolts or by the yokes. Ya, remember how I said I finished? Well, I went to install the driveshaft and realized all of the grease fittings (screws into the center housing of the U joints for Moog), are blocked by bolts and the center yoke, so I had to take everything completely apart and flip them 180°. Kinda weird to explain, I’d include photos if I could, but ya plan ahead and don’t make my mistake

looks easy enough! given there was editing magic, but not having a vice to use didnt make it look too bad.

It’s not the worst! A vice helps a lot. Or a ball joint tool goes a long way too for installation!

Did you tighten the one down in your previous video while on the lift with no load? Seems like all the difference?
