I agreed , the 70s ,80s & 90s were my best years of my life,now days it's getting worse, I get very sentimental when I see this program

People can rail on disco all they want to, but as a musician myself I can tell you that's some pretty damn good musicianship, arranging and orchestrated music in those clips....that's REAL musicians playing that stuff, not a bunch of electronic/backing tracks/pitch correction/auto-tune/techno, whatever you want to call it, like a lot of today's "music" is. My hat's definitely off to Alan Silvestri, he did a masterful job each week for this show.

I used to watch this show in reruns back in the day. It totally captures the spirit of the 1970s.

The only cop show I ever saw that plays disco music just prior to an crash, which makes you think that's how the accident happened, driver distracted.😂😅😅

When I was in Guatemala used to watch CHiPs a lot but never thought Mac Carthur Park was one of their film locations wow amazing.

that´s sad I loved season 3 the most, I grew up with them ^^ the showed the season in the mid 90´s on german tv. I miss them I would love to get season three and of course CHiP´s 99 but it seems to be impossible. thanks for the information

I've heard two different reasons why further CHiPs seasons are not being released according to Larry Wilcox's facebook fan page ... One is State of California wants royalties from sales, the other is the audio tracks for seasons 3-6 were completely lost in a mishap ... How true this is I have no clue lol
