OH MY GOD I HAVE NEVER FELT SO CONNECTED TO A SINGER EVER.

It’s kinda weird for me to listen last words of a shooting star. It was the last song I heard when i tried to unalive myself some months ago. Im doing better now but, its like, a soft, sweet and bitter feeling. Bc its a beautiful song but the lyrics describe exactly what I felt. Everything was so dark and gray and numb and umbearably painful. I mean now Im on meds and things changed but I can’t believe that I went thru all of that and im still alive. Im still breathing. Im still here. This was one of the worst years of my life but somehow I found some kind of therapy in mitski’ songs.

Like they've spent months or even years trying to create something unique and special, using just the right words, just the right sounds, and then they play it for all to experience...and then they have to answer a bunch of questions about their personal life or where their inspiration comes from or what their songs are about. Like sure it might be in a way interesting to know that, but it can in no way compare to letting the art speak for itself.
