Well you gotta support the war effort, it's obvious why all these companies all jumped in lines to make aircraft and tanks for the military during war times as the military will buy all planes, tanks, transports and other vehicles that you produce to support the war. Military vehicles back then don't require much more skill to produce than a regular civilian car would so it was easy to train car makers to make tanks, aircraft and other vehicles. It's an extremely lucrative business for these companies to sell the most overpriced services and equipment to the military since it's not their money that they use to buy war materials that they always need to keep fighting.

'The Wind Rises' is actually a really interesting piece, and one that I highly recommend. I think its less of a biography of Jiro, but a biopic of Miyazaki himself through the lens of Horikoshi. The film hinges on Jiro's alleged statement of "all I wanted to do was to make something beautiful", and explores how pure beauty can be corrupted by the harshness of reality, that will induce loss, suffering and force compromises along the way.

What's interesting is in reality, his life isn't so dissappointing as his wife would live long and stay with him, even though he was often busy in the office designing things. After the war he continued as an engineer for short time then become a teacher at tokyo university. He got 5 children! Sadly none would become an engineer. Studio Ghibli kinda screwed with history, even though its in a beautiful way. His life as an engineer could be said a good one as in the old age he even visit New York compared to what the regular japanese folk lost during the war he got better pie of it. It's a bit sad that his real wife name somehow gone and replaced by fictional character that Ghibli and Tatsuo Hori made :/ i bet she is the unsung hero in his life, especially after the war.

the trick to fighting the zero is coming in with speed and not at a steep angle, once forced slow there is nothing you can do in a zero. and most of the time zero pilots will present a very clear shot when performing evasive maneuvers, (allows for a split second shot on them) by the time that happens they cant really follow into the verticle due to bleeding speed trying to evade, so by the time I rudder flip and come back down on them they are basically a sitting duck.

@@kermitlynotfound1129 yeahhhh…. a lot of the time you have to try to drag your opponents closer to the ground where they perform worse than you except if they are Russian, thing is opponents will try to use their speed to run away so you turn round to bait them, if they keep running away they no longer your problem, but you want them to turn back to get on your tail, at that moment they have killed a lot of their speed and you then turn back and avoid any angles which you can be hit from and use the zeroes amazing energy retention in turns to move faster and out turn to get on their rear. And as your close to the ground they can’t dive to outpace you again. It’s really difficult to explain in words but I think you I get what I mean. A lot of the times people think they have gotten away cause I’m in a zero and they in a P51 and think that after I turn they can turn onto me to get on my rear but in actuality they have activated my trap card.

@@proleterriert8075 idk i just think most zero pilots are just used to abusing the ability to turn and over use it, i find that energy trapping a zero or just getting them to bleed speed is fairly easy, they are fairly easy to bait for team mates and even going against them solo i find that i have a split second to kill them before i have to extend and go verticle, if they follow they get stalled out and either die from my team or are way to slow combined with the fact a rudder flip is far faster than any normal turn so i can come back down on them and they simply don't have the speed to do anything.

yeah. i have 120 kills to 29 deaths in my a6m5 ko. too many people think they can overcommit just because im slow in a straight line. the 20mms slap as well

(Personal Opinion) I think the best starter nations are the USSR and the US, but China is a pretty good nation too, it gets the best of them both in low-mid tiers The main issue with China is that it's a minor nation so it doesn't get new vehicles that frequently and there's not much variety. If that doesn't bother you i'd say go ahead

yes plssss. i love the current J7W1. it has a solid airframe but an underperforming engine. The J7W2 Shinden Kai should solve that with its jet engine. it could be a competitive early jet at 7.0. slower than the kikka but more manouverable and more heavily armed

Japan has a defense treaty with America, Ukraine did not. That's the key difference. American personnel are already stationed in Japan.

There are no restrictions America has imposed on Japan. All of them have been lifted since the Korean War and both then and now, the US had encouraged the Japanese to fully rebuild a military so they can spare US resources and also to gain another ally in the region that can aid with outside operations. Much like how Korea is today. Japan however opted to not follow through and instead use a self defense force partly because they wished to not change their constitution which restricted Japan’s offensive capabilities. Self Defense Force is a misleading title though, because the JSDF especially navy wise is one of the most powerful militaries in the world. And the Japanese have been slowly getting less passive and using loopholes to do things such as a add carriers to their fleet and incorporate rapid deployment vehicles that could serve a great use for offensive attacks. And as the previous commenter said, there is a defensive pact between the two countries and US forces within Japan, which Ukraine lacked.
