How'd it go? Did you pray to the machine spirit in the Lancer first?

@@DaDaDo661 didn't see the reply first time around The Omnissiah has kept my vehicle together though there's an issue with both the rear driver wheel and the front passenger wheel. All break calibers are rusted to hell, desperately need replacing, I'll need to send a letter to the administratum see if there's anything I can get due to the bearing I received had 4 lugnut bolts and my rims have 5.. should have noticed right away but so be it, got it refunded and waiting on its replacement, I'm unsure what's going on with the front passenger but it really doesn't sound good, loud bass woobwoobwoob and some shaking Bought it for $400, it came with 240k miles and all speakers blown on top of the issues stated, rest is in great shape, just worried about my commute to work

@@Deathkorpsrider- haha nice, you should swap the front tires and see if the wub wub sound changes sides. Could be an out of round tire vs the bearing. Rockauto has cheap Lancer parts. Just did the rear calipers myself and they were about 60 bucks a piece for the entire assembly.

@@DaDaDo661 thank you for the tip I didn't know about rockauto I finally got a decent paying job I think I'll get everything through them vrs going through eBay or heading to scrap yards, Amazon doesn't allow me to shop with them anymore lol they didn't much care for looking back on certain discounts.. That's actually a really good price.. so a set of 4 though rough wouldn't kill me, how much was shipping?

It's not necessary, you remove the speed sensor before doing the job. These are perfectley fine to use a bearing or ball joint press.

Mitsubishi uses this system for some reason. Vast majority of cars these days have the unit bearing assembly that bolts right in.

It's a wheel bearing remover tool, AutoZone has them as a loaner tool.

Driver put the shifter on Drive and two hands on the steering wheel she's good to go. Yup there's the alignment gone 😢 just ripped it all out put everything tight and see you later. Toe in toe out rubbing etc. All good to go just keep both hands on the wheel your fine and keep a set of rubbers might come handy.

That's what the bearing remover/installer tool does. It just uses a screw to apply pressure instead of hydraulics. Works just fine-also useful for ball joints.

yeah I totally got it 👍🏼 I have a 2008 1.8 CVT "Sport" trim.. some old mechanic with tons of permits & diplomas told me you cannot change the bearings alone and you have to buy the whole hub..........

@@generaldistrust 1.8L? Are you in Europe? They never offered 1.8 in North America, we only got the 2.0 and 2.4.
