I have the same. I Spend 500 hours in PC2 with Thrustmaster TX and i could not drive in 3RD Preson camera, always cocpit and helmet view with good FOV and trackhat. The best set for me.

I watch the news here and there from mainstream car manufacturers media, and also like to keep in touch with JDM and classic car stuff. I'm not a fan of last automotive trends towards electric cars and such, but I still appreciate the Innovation. I talk about this shit expecting people to understand why a car is more than s four wheels box. And yeah, I'm boring as hell, I don't pretend to be that one cool guy who skateboards and thinks lambos are cool and then wastes his life away even if he kind of fucked all the pretty girls than fuck up himself on a low wage job at Walmart and he goes bald and gets fat and expects the world to award him for his fakery. Really.

For me at least 3rd person kind of makes up for the lack of spatial awareness in cockpit mode since you're not really able to actually turn your head, look at mirrors and see around you. I'm playing with an xbox controller on pc at the moment but same feeling.

@@123Ir0nman yeah unless you’ve got be goggles or a really big screen the spatial awareness is kinda low. You sort of get used to it after a while but it’s still not optimal.

there are people who drive in first person for simulation and there are people who drive in third person because they also like looking at the car, not just in replays.

There are people sharing their middle screen while they're playing in tripple screen(source youtube: Vertical Video Syndrome). When you share on youtube, you have to present stuff in a way so it's easier to understand & fun to watch. Most simracers suffer from Vertical Video Syndrome.
