I would happily reshell the car if I could find one but it’s quiet difficult and I think you’re right rust is a killer for cars if yours is surface only then it’s repairable il order a new pump and hope for the best and when I get more time il check the ignition side I hope it will run it’s definitely a keeper bro but the rust 🤔

@@CHARGEDGURUS you can transplant the whole lot on a non 4wd chassis if you can find... but save the 4wd centre longshaft and the rear axle mounts.... remove the welds and transf the whole pan to the 2wd new chassis.... refer mighty car mods video on the daihatsu mira conversion.... in malaysia, alot of us lot convert 2wd to 4wd safely this way. measure twice, cut once mate... im using the cm5a engine platform as well, hit me up if anything. cheers Ash

I have the same engine as yours the difference is the turbo , compression , the oil squirters

Hahaha I think that is the problem bro RUST after RUST 🤦‍♂️ I would spend around 2k getting all the rust sorted but then like you said the rest of it fuel pump service bits and what not where as the supra could have the money spent 🤔 but we shall see Love the feedback from you though bro 🙏
