Thank you soo much for considering my comment and actually making a video on this car , as someone who comes from a family who still owns a Lancer and a Pajero Sport , i can definitely say this car is an emotion and will always have a place in my heart. Also , wanted to add on that the Lancer was also available with a 1.8L Petrol Engine during 2004-2006 but that was limited to the Automatic gearbox only and The last Evolution you talked about , was actually launched in India in 2010 or 12 by Mitsubishi themselves but only 45-50 cars were sold as they were CBU units and quite pricy. Anyways , really appreciated your hardwork for this video 🙌🏻

As a car enthuiast, I admire the iconic Mirsubishi Lancer. To make a bigger place in India, they should have brought Mitsubishi Colt. Mitsubishi Outlander to India me bhi the, but inke diesel variants bhi the but never sold in India. Sabse bada twist to tabh aata jabh is Mitsubishi Outlander ke 2.2L Di-D diesel variant aate. Woh 2.2L Mitsubishi Di-D koi aut nahi balki Peugeot ke 2179cc ke DW12 diesel engine hain jisne Tata Safari 2.2L DiCOR aur Mahindra Scorpio 2.2L mHawk ko chalaye hain.

The Indian lancer was a bit of a tame version. But I don’t know of anyone who sold the lancer because of issues, they old sold it out of being bored of no issues or having kept them for long or got rich and wanted to upgrade to Honda accord or E class Mercedes. Though I saw a lancer in Bangalore which was built for drag racing giving a space shuttle output of 700 bhp. It sounded like none other, not even Ferraris come close.

Still know that my dad bought a used 2003 lancer diesel, we also did an experiment installing turbo and it was best at backfiring, due to police norms we had to remove turbo. Still I miss my 2003 lancer 2.0 diesel, sold in 2018

Bro my father owned a lancer 2.0 diesel from 2011 to 2021 and the car was a banger he always tells us the stories of how hardcore the car had been throughout the time he owned it … he once tells that he drove the car for continuously 13 hrs with 1-2 pee breaks and that was some serious japanese engineering bro the car was good but not powerful soo that being said now we own a chevy cruze 2.0 diesel and i also drove this beast and this car is a very powerful beast to cruize on highways and whenever i drive this thing it feels that u are the king of the road man its powerful,big/long sedan… and itss gooddd and now we are looking for a new upgrade so i would give u guya the honor for suggesting us (me and my dad) some bang for the buck cars , and some are on out shortlist like the octavia 1.8 tsi or the f10 bmw’s or old mercedes w211 or etc like these u can suggest some more of these sort plz if u read this whole comment then replay haan… ok best of luck to u guys for future vids..❤

They were showing Evo & discussing the Lancer sedan 😅😅😅. Btw lancer had a new version of Cedia, not Sidia, but it launched very late in the Indian market. Do you guys have any idea about the difference between Lancer Evo & Lancer 😅😅😅😅. Lancer Evo 8 was just 0.5 seconds behind Lambo of the same era. Evo models were also used for highway patrol to chase hi-speed cars in more than 50 countries including Japan with his elder brothers like Gtr & Supra.

Yes bro of course we know the EVO! Showing its pics was just representational as there is very less stock footage of the OG Mirage based Lancer (gen 7) that was launched in India... Also brother sidiyan was a funny take on the name Cedia 🤦 and yes EVO is on the same level as the GTR, Supra and RX7...all true JDM legends, but this video was purely about the Indian made Mitsubishi Lancers ❤️ that's also the reason we chose not to cover the tenth Gen which was launched in India - because it was not for the mass market and was a CBU... Hope it clarifies your doubts...🥂
