have had a look at a few of these - at least in this case Terrence does indicate the 25 NM tightening torque requirement - would suggest that if you don't do this stuff all day a torque wrench would be an excellent investment - particularly with alloy 'heads'
@LividLeon5 жыл бұрын
You are right. Some spark plugs even tell you to hand tighten it. Then turn 3/4 turns. It is different for each spark plug but proper information is key.
@michaelsclark4 жыл бұрын
25 nm is not much its pretty much hand tight with a nugg at the end . And being that they are on the top of the head probably don't have to worry about them backing out

no dielectric grease or anti seize on the plugs?
@HomiesOfMars4 жыл бұрын
Don't use anti seize on spark plugs, but dielectric grease is a personal preference.

2008 Mitsubishi Lancer, 224K. Hi Terence, how are you? Do the Lancers have problems with Sensors, gas filters... my friend's car is hesitating, low power... but when parked for 20 minutes and back on the road, all is normal again. It doesn't happen all the time. Strange.

Nice, vid. What is the gap for a 2.0L ? 2011 lancer
@Michael-uo4jj4 жыл бұрын
these cars only use iridium spark plugs and they should be pre gapped because regular a gap tool could damage the electrode unless you bought the wrong spark plugs
