Hood Latch: Make sure buddy to clean and lubricate the Hood Latch at least once a year, before winter or tropical humid summers ! If the Hood Latch ever gets stuck but not broken, you would have to remove the splash shield and reach up with your arm and flat s driver to release the hood latch. Lancer's and other cars are prone for this. A bad kink in the cable is a headache too.

Nice video. Just to clarify, it's an accessories drive belt not a timing belt. Your car has a timing chain.

Very helpful you rock. Is there any other panels in that general area between the fender liner, side shield, front shield? Just wondering if that's all I need to replace that side or if I'm missing something. separately

do you know if the engine cover needs to be connected to the extension panel to be secured? (5379A169)

I don't think it does. It might connect but it should be secure without it if it does. The majority of the screws and push clips connect with the frame/bumper of the car and also the side splash shields.

Yes, some of the 10 mm bolts are directly connected to the bumper

aaron bryan not sure what you mean but the front bumper has these tabs that have these holes in them, that’s where the bolts attach to

Vince Parreno thx and what’s the difference between the se gsr and mr which one should I get for a starter car and could I get any for under 25k?

SaGOAT Gaming main difference is the MR is a dual clutch (basically automatic), while the GSR is a straight up manual. If you don’t know how to drive manual get the MR, but I say learn how to if you don’t, and get the GSR. The MRs sometimes have a lot of issues with the transmission.
