Mitsubishi had great history in racing like In "Dakar Rally" and "World Rally championship". And maybe manufacturer like toyota until now just still dream wants to achieved like Mitsubishi did in Dakar and WRC.Mitsubishi are very underrated especially from Toyota fanboys, i had drive and also become passanger in the Pajero Sport 2013 for long journey and i'm feel comfortable in the seats , my body feels not tired much better than in the honda CR -V and toyota Fortuner. And the car's power & torque are great enough in the motorway/toll road and climbing/ hill roads, & Fun to drive also. Just love Mitsubishi.

I own a Pajero and I love it. But let's not fool ourselves, The Pajero of the Dakar has nothing stock but the lights and the Mitsubishi emblem.

Excellent point mate. As a lover of the mighty 'Paj' myself, I of course know that my humble Pajero parked just outside my front door would struggle in the Dakar. Having said that...........it still makes me feel mighty good to know that Dakar experience is one of the influences that finds its way into the urban Pajero. They really are a very good 4x4 and everyday drive.

200K and you can have 1:1 replica in your driveway. I would definitely order one te be build if I had that money, together with an RB Tuareg Dakar replica and a X5 replica with the Corona livery.

unfortunately they are no longer producing the Pajero after 2019. Only Australia will enjoy it for a few years more. This car has one of the most advanced automatic gearboxes in the world.

Of all suv's montero/pajero are sometimes outshined and sometimes belittled especially by toyota fans worldwide.....but one thing for sure,,the record is record nothing and no one can change that...period!the legendary beast of dakar

I have had 4 mitsubishi vehicle.if you want to know what the meaning of reliability you have to buy mitsubishi vehicles . I didn't see longevity and reliability like it before.

Agree! We also have a Mitsubishi, incredibly reliable. No major problems at 250,000 kms, and even though it break down it is simple to repair.

I must say this, I'm just about to "swap" Challenger (Pajero sport) for Pajero, so far after 4 years my Challenger did not let me down even once, they are great Cars to drive and guess what, I am a huge Toyota disliker. Have driven most of them, could not convinced myself to buy one. Most of them are the most boring to drive and they are heavily overpriced.

honestly both pajero and landcruiser are great off road vehicles..but i kinda like pajero cause its smaller more agile than landcruiser..plus here in the Philippines finding parts is not an issue. durability I'll go for the landcruiser.. styling and mileage goes to the pajero.

ummm... 5:04 "for the 373 nanometer - strong engine"?? Thanks, voice-over guy!! There I was, all this time, thinking that engine pulling power was measured in Newton metres. But you clearly know your stuff, and after listening to your wise words, now I understand that the Pajero can climb a 70 degree incline because it's engine strength is measured in units of length. All 0.000000373 metres of it! Thank you for educating me

I have to say that. We have had Pajero II and Pajero IV. These are my most respected off-road vehicles and they show me why in many situations. But Land Cruiser is the same - it's offroad classic. So dislikes were stupit Jeep drivers (Hej Jeeps - stay in the city)...

4:45 - The Pajero does not have "permanent all-wheel-drive", hence the 2L option on the super select lever. 5:02 - "377 nano meter strong engine" Nano meter? Did you mean Newton Meters because last time I checked, that's how one measures torque. The Pajero weighs 2085kg (3.8 petrol) and 2280kg (3.2 Diesel) while the LandCruiser Prado weighs 2120kg (4.0 petrol) and 2330kg (3.0 Diesel). This could have been a much better video if you had checked your facts. Or maybe get people that actually know what they're talking about.

+onl9TheTruth Of course it is but I can tell as owner of a 2003 sport it's definitely a race bred vehicle and as nearly all the reviews i could find prior to my purchase absolutely everything works, works as new at 185k miles and hasn't needed a single repair in the two years it does so well off road it doesn't need to be a hotrodded unit to really shine/

im not a mitsubishi or toyota supporter. but the toyoat seems alot better. the narration sais heeps of good stuff about the toyota. than randomly sias "the pajero wins" wtf?
