As a sabres fan this literally hurts to watch. Casey is such a hard worker and if given the opportunity will seriously become a threat to the league. Best of luck to y'all, get our boy a cup

Lifelong Sabres and Avs fan. Love this trade for both teams, really is just a nice fair hockey trade that addresses needs of both sides. If Bo can stay healthy he is going to breakout with Dahlin. And with the talent around Casey, I think he's going to surprise some Avs fans with how good he can really be. Kid is smart. We'll miss ya in Buffalo Mitts but me personally I'll still be watching every game and can't wait to watch this playoff run!

I think it will, Byran scored Sabres one of 2 goals last night in the loss to Preds 4-2 may be 5-2 with an empty netter didn't see the final score, And Middlestadt has been steadily increasing his game alot over the last 2 years, he's a bonafide Playmaker now, and I think playing with more elite talent like Mckinnon and Makar will push his game to the next level

Good luck Casey the cat " I rember seeing Mittlstadt in the pratice ice rink think tank as rookie he's really matured but hes maintenence a High energy Mittlstadt is yet to reach his Full potential the Avalanche will demand on Casey to produce Big numbers and make a stronger bid for this year's stanely cup championship its definitely a good fit for Hockey player that Deserves the opportunity
