@@phoenix5054 if you have not been in the social media just tell me so. Within business of fashion, miumiu has been the leader for the last few seasons. They are far from the “quiet luxury” hype that we are seeing. Of course the garments themselves are nothing new, but let’s not act like it is not experimenting with the vibes, what is traditionally considered unfashionable like the awkward built of the garments, the tired Secretary-esque looks from the models.

its because miuccia is letting raf have most of the creative control at prada which is why in the last couple of years prada has been so fucking boring, miuccia is putting most of herself into miu miu which is why miu miu has been so good and extremely relevant lately

Just comment to remind people that Prada and Miu Miu are different worlds, and designed with different mindsets despite some inevitable similarities as they are from the same designer. Miuccia has made herself clear a lot recently that people GET THE WRONG IDEA about her and Raf's mutual job at Prada. No one has creative control over anybody. She works on Raf's input equally as he does hers. Prada is always very abstract and delivers some spiritual messages that should not be taken literally. Miu Miu is, in contrast, very specific, and thus easier to understand and can be more likeable. It's intended for a younger audience anyway. People can have their opinions of course, but comparisons like this just show a shallow understanding of the brands.

Miuccia makes me feel/think that I don’t have a taste for fashion but a taste for applied intelligence.
