MIUI gallery features is sick, especially sky.

I watchged it and reached a conclusion that there is literally no big changes in this ui

The ads are there on 12X. My favourite improvement is simply that apps remain longer in memory, they really do.

MIUI 14 for mid-rangers and flagships: Android 13 MIUI 14 for budget entry level devices: Android 12

Battery backup has taken a hit, my 11i is now consuming 4% to 8% more battery depending on the tasks. There are no ads and ui is a lot smoother than before, yt bug has been optimised a lot and lastly the phone is also producing less heat

The video editor was a part of MIUI 13 as well and it’s pretty useful!

can't wait to get this on my mid range poco in 2030

New MIUI--> Remove old bugs---> Introduces new bugs----> REPEAT

The watermark, remove feature, and the video editor from the gallery is not new in MiUI 14. 😁

My favourite new additions: - no gestures with 3rd party launchers so I have to use default launcher - can no longer change icon pack in default launcher - recent apps page crashing every time you press + hold an app - bug preventing you from swiping to open notification panel. - downgraded calculator app Great update, I can't wait for the next one

What's the use of enlarged folder and pressing inside from the folder while u can place it on the screen itself

They have very agressive ram management currently, if you switch to another app or leave something in background and open it after sometime it is gone.Fixing this should be top priority.

ColorOS13 also had enlarged folder option when they rolled it out initially but later removed it in the next update and i really miss it. It was very helpful.

The video editor features and image editing features are available in MIUI13 as well

Most of the gallery features were already there on my phone from Miui 12.5 and now on 13

I have Xiaomi 11i... Ram management actually improved and i loved it... storage same around 12gb.. no new widgets ☹️, super wallpapers disappeared after 12.5 🤣, still blue tint in 120hz on low brightness bug not fixed

Miui 14 is also coming with jio 5g support for many devices

There are no poco phones listed on the site when poco phone have actually received the update

Updates are scary on Xiaomi devices. My brother's Poco X2's motherboard, the touch and camera got damaged after an update.

ℹ️ was worried will poco f4 get it but got the OTA update just now. Good that xiaomi treats poco as a sibling brand 👍🏼👍🏼

What to Poco devices?

Majority of Xiaomi Redmi & poco devices will receive miui 14 update when 2023 ends and miui 15 will be announced - commenting this from my poco F3gt

Received the MiUI 14 Android 13 update for Mi 11x today, it's smooth and fast, the performance is great, I find MiUI in general lacks a lot of features which should be standard the first being the Monet engine. The lacklustre wallpaper set of miui 14 is also kinda disappointing. I believe the battery life is a bit better, but I don't see any significant increase in storage space, the RAM expansion now can be done till 5GB which is welcome, however the ram managment is still bad in comparison to Apples and Samsungs of the world. All in all an interative update at best, that just makes existing things a tiny bit better but doesn't bring changes that has been requested since long time ago.

they scammed the redmi note 10 users by not giving miui 14 update with android 13 saying that the snapdragon 678 can't support any more android updates now( but at launch time they said this device will get 2 major android updates and 3 years of security updates) and will be stuck with 12 which made the miui 14 update that came last month just a security patch and no new features of any sorts

The last 2 Xiaomi updates bricked my Mi Note 10 and Mi 11 lite cant wait for MIUI 14 definitely the update of all time

1:35 protective watermark was there in miui 13, which I use, and it is there in the more options in the gallery.

Widgets won't arrive in the future, it's only for Chinese ROM.

Received miui 14 today. Still doesn't have the newer widgets or the themeing options 1.5 years after android 12. Not even sure if it received Standalone 5g update yet or not for Jio, will test tomorrow. Also one weird bug / design choice - there is a comically large gap between the bottom dock & the bottom most row of apps on home page.

My miui 14 doesn't have game booster nor smart control setting

I've been using my Redmi Note 12 for one day and the jury is still out. I did enjoy how easy it was to uninstall the bloatware and set it up to my liking. Since it doesn't have screen splitting, homescreen looping, screen recording I'll have to suffer in peace. I installed Microsoft Launcher to get homescreen looping. Had to install an app to use the IR blaster and it only turns my TV on & off.

Hope it doesn't crash the motherboards 🫥🫥🫥🫥🫥😒

I got a notification for the miui update on poco f4 today morning but I didn't download it then because I was on mobile data. Now in the system update section , it's telling me that no update is available... Now I might have to wait again until Xiaomi starts rolling stable updates

MIUI is extremely feature rich but you really don't know when it's going to break your phone with an update.
