This is the seventh video of a series capturing the modifications to a 2022 Kawasaki Z900 ABS. In this video, we are installing a MIVV MK3 slip-on exhaust. We’ll also go over the modifications to date, and in the beginning of the video - we get the exhaust sounds out of the way early. There is also a bonus raw video shot at the end capturing the exhaust sounds in 3rd to 4th and 4th to 3rd shifting.

Trying to get this exact same bike and color. Looks amazing and I bet it's a blast to ride. That exaust would sound much nicer in my opinion if you do the cat delete or get some headers to replace the stock. Beautiful bike nonthless and I am jealous!

Great video ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ are you happy with the exhaust ? I mean, the sound, the look and does it gives a hug effect when you got the full system? I am looking for a slip-on for my 2023 Z900 , and to be honest. I cant decide, there are so many slip-on to choose between 😅

Appreciate the compliment! I really like the look of my MIVV slip-on, so I was completely satisfied with the visual. Before upgrading to a full system, the sound was too mild for me, and doesn't really compare to the sound and intensity of the full-system. It's a monster with the full system and is enjoyable to now look AND listen to. Regarding all the choices, I would just go with which one you think looks and sounds the best to you.

@@motomaddox thank you very much. I think i will go with Mivv MK3 like yours. I will try post a video when i am finish with the styling of it. My idea is to to put on, tail tidy, mirrors etc And also get my rims paint in black. The bike is the grey/ black model with green frame. I Hope it turns out to be good choise😄

Do you have a Kawasaki Z900 with the huge "bread-box" still attached? If you keep the stock exhaust headers and bread box, and only change the muffler with a slip-on, the sound will still be very mild. It's really only when you start chopping off the catalytic converter and/or full bread box - OR do a full header change creating a free flowing system, does it get super loud. If you are doing just a slip on, I'd recommend getting one that you like the way it looks most of all, as there will be minimal sound or performance gains with a slip on.

Yes. This particular video captures the sound of the stock header pipes, stock "bread box" with the catalytic converter, and the after market slip-on silencer. This was before I did the full header swap.

Correct bike and wxhaust model? Never seen someone having that problem.

The slip-on is from MIVV in Italy, so they had adapters for both the Euro-5 compliant non-US models, AND totally different adapters for the U.S. bikes. The outlet from the "bread box" for this model could be a different size depending on your Country, and I ordered the incorrect one. I eventually wound up getting another adapter and had it expanded, so my fitment is finally good now.

That’s a slip on, not an exhaust. Wait until you get some headers and watch the sound difference! Personally I went full Akrapovic because I’ve cheaped out before and tried the delkevic hot garbage thing. Looks good though!

Appreciate the view and feedback. In some of my titles, I do differentiate "full system" from just "exhaust", but you make a good point. I just updated the title to be more accurate. The funny thing is this setup with just the slip-on only lasted about a week. I threw full headers on the bike shortly after this vid, so yes I'm enjoying the glorious sound of a full exhaust with my unique combo of MIVV + Black Widow. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iNiYe9Bz3byUiJc.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/abiSiZRinM7blJ8.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/itaGjN2Zu8-0Yac.html I don't have any experience with Delkevic, but but I'm fully satisfied with MIVV. It just took a really long time for it to get imported from Italy to the US. I thought I would be satisfied with just the slip-on, but it was still to tame for me - that's when I went with BW for the headers - as I had a great experience with them before. Yeah, a slip-on will only provide a nominal change in exhaust note from stock. That's why I swapped out the headers as well...kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gN1xqphyr5fGoJs.html
