Matt Cutler (aka Lone) is a man dedicated to making the kind of blissful, life-affirming dance music you can actually take 'seriously', fusing and re-energising classic genres with killer beats, riffs, and goosebump melodies. So in this set I've gone for the young-Boards-Of-Canada-meets-young-Floating-Points-raving-in-Goa-all-summer'93-making-ecstasy-induced-tunes-together kinda feel😉 Seriously😐
Top respect to the great Mr Cutler, R & S Records, and Lone fans everywhere. Had a lot of fun doing this, enjoy :)

Stumbled across this mix a few years ago and started levitating when I heard blue moon tree for the first time. One of my favorite tracks ever and Lone's been a favorite of mine since. Amazing stuff daddyo thanks for putting it together

Lone is the man, he used to be one of the resident dj's of my club night Hoya:Hoya back in Manchester years ago, such a great guy, awesome dj and producer and with such talent. I do miss those days for sure

I'm amazed by how good the song selection is in every one of these mixes. I also feel like the hidden genius are the key changes to the original tunes (for example, Blue Moon Tree is in a different pitch). But I happen to always prefer the key-changed tunes to the originals, so bravo!

Thank you so much Matthieu. Genuinely I would love to do BOC (so many ideas!), I just know they have made numerous takedowns in the past, plus they are notoriously difficult to contact. I will look in to it again tho - it's not as though anything I might use in a mix is going to be current now

For my part, I'm also thinking of Deepchord, Klartraum, .... and why not the beginnings of Moonbeam (instrumental only), I like a lot the 2000-2010 decade.
