If the last two rounds were all about songwriting and production, B.I's team would win. But since this is a vocal competition, Jinhwan would have been my pick for the previous episode. B.I's vocal team seemed weak compared to the others who sang "Rolling in the Deep" and "I Want You," which showcased the member vocals-which was the whole point of that round. B.I's arrangement and their stage presence were solid, though. For this round, vocally speaking, Bobby's team had the edge. Junhoe was phenomenal, and Chanwoo blended his voice effortlessly with the group, especially compared to the newer trainees from other teams. And, of course, Bobby was amazing as usual. Their mix of vocals and rap was incredibly strong. Their performance of "Let's Get It Started" is still making waves on Twitter and going viral. B.I and Donghyuk did a great job, but Hongseok felt a bit awkward and out of place in the song. I don't think Jinhwan losing has anything to do with his leadership. He's the best leader in iKON, always guiding the others well. Losing twice doesn't undermine his leadership skills; it’s just that the circumstances didn't play out in his favor. His team was vocally impressive in the previous episode, with the judges' only critique being Hongseok's lack of cohesion with the group. It’s also worth noting that Jinhwan’s team placed third this episode, likely because they didn’t have a rapper, and the judges, who are predominantly rappers, might have a bias. The song choice probably wasn't to their taste either, given their preference for hip-hop, EDM, and trap. In the dance round, Jinhwan's team was outstanding and perfectly in sync, truly deserving the win. Yunhyeong, in particular, was a standout performer. Jinhyeong, the new guy, who couldn't dance when he first started was in sync with the rest which just goes to show how great Jinhwan's leadership it.

I couldn’t agree more. When I watched this ep when it aired, eventhough I am a Hanbin biased, I like LET’S GET IT STARTED team more. The arrangement and how they performed it is 🔥🔥 and it’s getting viral in Tiktok just this month again haha. That team is just amazing. For the dance part, well it’s really Jinhwan’s team. They really deserve that high scores.

sheesh you gave some great feeddback that i didnt even think of. One being that Jinhwan's leadership didnt play a role in coming in last place it just didnt play out in his favor. Vocally speaking Jinwan's team i feel like will always win that category because his team make up vocalists. so i think you have to judge based off of everything as a whole. the panel are made up of rappers which im curious why there wasnt diversity there with that cause it could of swayed the score as well. the vocals in B.I's team wasnt as great as Jinhwans but it was enough especially with the production and cool arrangement of the song

⁠@@kjreacts7715if were talking about it as a whole then I stand by my point. Jinhwan had the highest score if you calculate the scores from the judges and comparing both team’s performances, Jinhwan clearly won. Jinhwan’s dance was memorable. And let’s say if production was included, B.I’s team was memorable so now all that’s left is vocals. Who do you think won? In vocals, Jinhwan’s team did better than B.I. B.I’s team got overpowered by the song production and did not showcase their vocals well. If you compare DK and Hongseok in Let It Go and to how they did in Rolling in the Deep and I Want You, which song showcased their vocals more? Didn’t you notice DK through his Rolling in the Deep cover? :) Jinhwan’s I Want You team with Junhoe and Hongseok literally got noticed by the original singer and posted about it on social media saying they did a good job and he liked it.

too biased theres no such thing i think treasure definitely fit the pocket of what that team was capable of doing. They sang it well too and it was fun. I think i lean towards B.I because of him stepping outside of those boundaries and doing the unthinkable. Everyone else's performances felt like they were playing it safe

@@kjreacts7715 The others didnt play it safe, they just wanted to highlight the vocals and not overpower it with song production. The purpose was to showcase the skills of the members who arent sure ikon members. If you’re looking for out of the box production from the others, you can see it in Bobby’s new album SiR Robert, music peers have been regarding it as very experimental and he has done a production no one in Korea has ever done yet. I get you’re biased, we all are. But I think we need to see this more objectively. :)

YG’s brutal survival show really knocks me to my core crying whenever I watch them… it isn’t my first time watching this but it still broke my heart seeing them like this… I mean the original 6 members been through a lot as Team B from the survival show “WIN” and seeing them crashing one by one is too much for me as their fan… my river of tears is on point right now and my love-hate relationship with YG is on point as well…. Goodness they’ve been through this brutal show so much 🥺

this version of LET IT GO was plagiarized by a Chinese girl group in a survival competition, they literally just translated it to their language even Hanbin's verse and claimed it as if its their own when the judges asked about the song, they took all the credit.. thas how good it was....

I've watched M&M many times, but I swear, I honestly think Jinhwan's team has the best performances in this part of the competition (ep. 5 and 6). "Treasure" performance makes you smile, it was cute and perfectly staged. The Deux dance was just the best, and I don't even need arguments. They deserved 1st place then, not 2nd or 3rd. I'm sure many iKONICs think the same, not just me 🙂‍↕️

I’m sure they do B.I all the way though. jinhwan’s team was good i don’t know if they deserved last place again but B.i’s team did everything jinhwans team did but was very very polished. Now jinhwans dance was solid I understand the scores on that

@@kjreacts7715man I really can't agree, sorry. I like everything Hanbin does, and this "Let it go" was good, yes, but it WASN'T the best performance of the three. I'm just talking about my feelings when I watch all the performances. I always find it more exciting to rewatch "Let's get it started" and "Treasure". And Jinhwan, Yunhyeong, Jinhyeong dance was definitely the icing on the cake of this episode. This was the only moment on this show where B.I's team deserved 3rd place. In my opinion. But it was interesting to know your opinion. Thanks for the reaction! 🫶

The jury was biased. B.I's production was amazing for a performance but was not a right choice for the two vocalists, Lee Hi ate them up and they were supposed to be the ones being judged not Lee Hi or B.I, Jinhwan and Bobby's team were above in skills and that's the reason why these two performance are viral on twitter and tiktok to this day, their choices were more considerate to their fellow competitors this time.

that is fair Leehi did eat them up and made it her song. look i am starting to see that now but im still With B.I taking a song that is almost impossible to change and make it your own and create a new style for it. B.I always challenged himself incredibly.

@@kjreacts7715If this was a production competition, that would be fair. This isnt just judging based on song production but overall most especially the vocals. Sorry sir, I think we are all in disagreement here. This was not to judge the production but the vocals, that is what the other teams has always focused on and why their arrangement was the way it was, they let the vocalists shine. Let It Go arrangement overpowered the vocalists, if you go back and see the feedback all of it was about song production and barely any feedback about the vocalists.

@@kjreacts7715 I'm with you, B.I did something unthinkable with this song but that was not what they were evaluating, they weren't even evaluating b.i productions, those evaluated were donghyuk and hongseok and with all due respect look how nobody remembers them in this performance. That's why I wish the ceo stopped all the leaders from making too much changes to the og music, the judges were not specialists in vocal and they were completely distracted by the production. B.I's team had the most uncontrolled vocalists in technique and the harmonies didn't work as well as other teams, they were good but not as good as others. Also don't understand why they gave such low points to B.I's team for their dance, they say “JYP has long arms” well, sorry if these guys are short but I think they did a good job, not as good as Jinhwan's team but was good and something makes me think was because the song they danced to wasn't hip-hop.

@@kjreacts7715 Sir, please read my comment again. :) An okay production? Sir, the purpose of the other leaders was to showcase the vocalists. Look, I love B.I’s arrangement, he did really well, an amazing job really, but as the person above me commented in more details, the vocalists were infinitely weaker than the other groups. I think you are getting too biased here as I know you like B.I. But come on..
