I love, LOVE you discussing the process. I love the reactions to your own process. Lots of positive suggestions for us to think about. I’ve been doing abstract art for years and years and your explanation of the “layering “ process was so spot on. I always feel like my inner self, my creative being is waiting patiently for me to play for awhile, to set my ego aside and THEN it comes out to dance with me and create with me. I love how your voice changes as you are surprised when the painting reveals a new direction or a new shape. Once I am in the flow, decisions just happen, choices made that surprise me and please me and you expressed that so well in your narrative.❤❤❤

Hi, Michelle! I loved to see how you went to that huge amount of black to the end piece. Not that I didn’t like the black, because I do love black in my pieces and I even felt a bit sorry when you started covering it 😉. However, I loved the end piece and to watch all the process. I’m not capable of using pink 😂💗! I don’t even own any item of clothes of that colour 😂💗, so it was great to see how you incorporated a colour that you don’t like either 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗

Lovely to watch your process, thank you for your generosity of spirit. Just thought I'd mention that the 'emulated' writing that artists do, that has no meaning, is called 'asemic writing' and is a legitimate thing. ... I know because I love to do it too, and looked it up. :)

Do you have a preselected color palette before you jump in?

I do sometimes, but other times I will only use two of the colors. Keeping it simple is better.😊
