Day one of the #gelypostcardplay is well underway and in fact, we jump ahead a bit completing day two as well. Tomorrow is the Arty Chat with Froyle so we thought it best to be prepared! P and M's approaches are different, so we even had the hand cam on P today to avoid missing anything!

I'm treating the comments area today as if it were chat! LUCKY YOU! ❤ Way to teach everyone to tear, Miss Mariah! Also, you can get clear acrylic vent redirecting funneler things that will attach with magnets! Check Home Depot. Or Amazone. I have no idea what they are called. VENT SOMETHINGS. Dear Queen P: I'm SO GLAD I could help you learn something new and techy! Back to Miss M: Not all Glue is Matte/Gloss Medium (they're not made to be paint/art reliable) - but all Matte/Gloss Medium can be used as an adhesive. Dear Mister Ceri - one database at a time! Miss Darcy - maybe you can make the cute new stamps of lil flowers and leaves work in the itty bitty version! You know, in ALL your spare time! Multiple layups coordinating with ATC sizes ... don't count on anyone having thought that far ahead. I suspect it was more that poker cards were being altered that began the standardiztion. Whoa! Split desktops view! I like it! That "fifteen" handwriting looks very sweet! Signature colors are hard. Fifteenth on the first: There IS a one digit in the numerical representation. #Justification Dear Bug #02: you look MAAAAAHVELOUS! Dear Red on Red Floral Motif #02: WHISTLE!! And P.S. P & Mariah, you didnt see the question i asked about matte gel medium in the stream today-so I’ll ask it here. Let me set the scene-i used matte gel medium to adhere and seal my gelprints onto my postcards. To speed the process up, i thought that I’d brayer a layer of the matte gel medium onto my gelplate then lay the postcard down onto the gelplate to pick up the medium. I only did this on the postcard after I adhered the gelprint to it. It sealed the postcards, but it also gave me a textured surface. Did i get this surface because i used the gelplate? Or could it be the medium itself? I was using the Liquitex brand. I’d welcome your thoughts on this

Ohh yes it was created by apply it to the gel plate... when you pull it creates that kind of puckering or even like wavy kind of texture. This doesn't happen with direct to paper but with the paint to paint this puckering can happen.
