Beautiful colors and work. 👍🏻 Can you tell me what I need to do to ensure that the resin covers the edges of my canvas? I made sure the drying surface was level first but still some of the edges had no resin when dry. Also no silicone was used in the paint and I cleaned the painting before putting the resin on.

Just ensure they are fully, fully covered with your hands or a brush. It will always be thinner on the sides but if should be covered :)

I've noticed that when I poured and blow dried the paints around, the surface is uneven. Will the self leveling epoxy smooth that out on a normal cover pour?
@jenkinsmacedo9095
@jenkinsmacedo9095 2 жыл бұрын
I would have wiped first not sure if you did wipe it prior to applying the resin, apply high gloss varnish and resin it. Doing it this way to me will result in significant vibrant colors since the high gloss varnish would have served as an immediate layer between the acrylic and the resin. Either way, resin alone would do.

I did a 14 x 18 wood canvas acrylic pour for an end table top. I used Art Resin and did 3 coats and let it cure for about a week. The coaster I put on top left a ring. Is Stone Coat countertop durable and won’t scratch the surface and about how many coats to apply and how long does it take to cure in between each coat? Can you also do stone coat countertop top on canvases? Can you use a heat gun instead of a torch?

@MixedMediaGirl
@MixedMediaGirl 3 жыл бұрын
I didn't resin this right away, nor do I wait 4 weeks for vases to cure. Canvases are different than glass and wood. A vase is different than a canvas or a table. I recommend researching paint cure times and then decide what you think is best for what you're painting ❤
