Just when you feel a Galleon can kick ass, remember, 75% of Pirate ships during the early 18th century were sloops.

yeh, pirates would almost never use a big ol galleon, cuz its just such a big crew, too big and slow, and it was very easy to spot. Sloops and schooners were MUCH better, they didn't require as much of a crew, they were faster, and they were harder to spot. Also galleons were hard to raid and take over, while the other ships were much easier to.

@@user-tz4jn9us8i Absolutely! but the only bad thing about sloops (realistically) is they could be sunk very easily, also couldn't carry as much weight, nor could it have as many cannons or firearms in general as an actual war ship. They had more difficulty sailing in tougher seas. But yeah they were generally good choice for a standard pirate crew of the day.

Yes its lag but you know you can switch servers and not force yourself onto a high ping server to get easy kills.and concerning the sword dash: yes it was unintentional but at this point its a much welcomed feature which even the devs dont consider fixing. Unlike the superbucket and other animationcancels.

@@prestoncard6721 you know what is cheating? no movespeed penatly for carrying Blunderbuss or eye of reach. Almost every fps games has movespeed penalty for carrying guns except this game. Not to mention, the ease of jumping in the game during combat is too OP. Csgo has movespeed penalty for jumpers, this game needs it too.

@@anarchymachine5221 honestly doubt it, plus the sword has its place but you need to mix it up, I used to double gun but taking galleon crews solo is so much easier with a sword as a secondary.

I love when Meg started attacking! I was sailing away from a Galleon by myself and a Kraken swooped in and grabbed the Galleon, it was so funny. I was sittong out of reach with the Megaphone saying "I'd hate to be you guys" and I lost my shit when they actually sank, no input from me lol

Haha! I do the same thing. Burying supplies at just about every outpost. 👌 If you sink, you have plenty more where that came from. Just always protect your map. Make sure it either sinks or you carry it away from the ship. I usually just hide the map somewhere so nobody can find it. Like, on top of the tavern where people can't see it. Nobody looks there.
