Disclaimer: I do not use any of these pigments for my glosses. All of the pigments I use are always handled with gloves 💗

Honestly I wouldn't care if those were the pigments you use in the glosses for 1 reason, you never physically touched the pigment going into the gloss, but that is just my opinion, and I don't mean that to be disrespectful to you

I learned that in 3rd grade when I had this brilliant idea for my painting project. I thought, hey, instead of painting every single color one by one I could mix the paint to make a rainbow! 8 year old me did not realize (A) I would be craetibg a gloopy mess (B) I would ruin my drawing of a scene of a rainbow and animals underneath and (C) I, instead of creating a happy little world with sunshine and rainbows, created a world full of swirling gray.

when u mix a lot of colors in more or less even proportions the result will always be sorta grey or black, that's how colors work and why mixing every paint color results in a sickly gray instead of automatic rainbow

Color theory 101 when you mix all the colors together depending on percentages and tone it will turn into murky brown, purple/grey/blueish color or another muddy type of color again depending on the pallet

Grey and silver are very similar and some of those glitters looked silver to me so that may be why it had a grey under tone
