The paper board allow you to just easily dump the pieces into the box at the end of the game. After several games, I prefer them :) Of course, I'm bias ;)

Gave this as a gift recently. Wow! What a great twist on tile-laying games! Yeah, its kind of a quieter game, but we discovered some nice tension with the limited tiles to pick from each round, and competition for the bonus tiles and end game scoring. It's definitely not Bloodrage, but it is a gem!!!

It's a SPA game. You just relax and enjoy the experience, without pushing too far.

My wife likes Nmbr 9 and Patchwork so I got this for her for Christmas.

Peter Terry So... do you and your wife enjoy the game? I am interested, but with tiny towns and silver&gold and cartographers (and older games like patchwork) there is so much competition. so hard to decide 🙃
