Oh great, bland & black fans are slowly creeping into popularity here, how fun.
Let me introduce you to Miyako’s latest innovation; full black pedestal fans that utilize Maspion’s age old fan blade design, available with either plastic or metal grille, how advanced.
Let’s not forget to mention that they decided to join the furry fandom with this new lineup of fans, calling the grilles “Musang” which translates to “Badger” in English. Apparently “Musang” is their abbreviation for ‘Mudah Dilepas Pasang’ or ‘Easy to Install & Remove’. I’ve seen the ad on these fans in KZfaq, and they indeed have someone wearing a badger fursuit dancing around with grannies wearing hair curlers & hip teenagers. I’m not sure if they’re trying to one-up Cosmos’s Wadesta ad that went viral, but to me it’s a bit silly.
Back in the 2010’s, Miyako’s 16” fans had wide blades with pretty deep pitch, and they move quite a large amount of air. As prices for everything slowly went up, they made the blades more flimsy & thin, then introduced new plastic grilles & finally switched to this distinctively Maspion design blades, that admittedly are more sturdy than their latest wide blade fans. Airflow out of this new fan blade is still very competitive in comparison to Maspion’s & Cosmos’s fans, but boy does it look ridiculous in my eyes.
Actually, come to think of it, this is my very first video of a Miyako fan in quite some time. Not sure why, but Miyako fans seems to have evaded my interest.
